The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, and aQmen CEO Qamar Rizvi were invited to discuss trade and investment opportunities between Canada and India. The breakfast speaker series hosted by Blakes, Cassels & Graydon LLP, covered a broad range of insights and perspectives on commerce activities between the two countries, as well the steps being taken to solidify the economic partnership.
At the event Mr. Rizvi also met Sue Rauth, Deputy Director for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, for the Ontario Region. Other dignitaries who attended the event included Mr. Michael Bryant, CEO of Invest Toronto, Mr.Robert Granatstein, Managing Partner at Blakes, Cassels & Graydon LLP, and other executives from Toronto’s business and government community.
