aQmen ventures into home building – to make a difference

There can be a myriad of reasons behind the motivation to launch a new business; to make a living, to make money, to make it big, etc. However, for Mr. Rizvi, aQmen’s President and CEO, his venture into home building was all about making a difference.

“KoKoRo HAUS isn’t so much about building homes, as it is about building dreams,” says Mr. Rizvi. “Our purpose is to actualize extraordinary homes that are purposely built to be experienced, not just to be lived in. And, we endeavour to achieve this on an ordinary budget so many can realize their dream.”

Kokoro is a Japanese concept where all three human senses —the heart, mind and soul— are combined into one. In keeping with this holistic Japanese notion, Mr. Rizvi’s new venture hopes to create homes that touch peoples’ heart, mind and soul. It’s why he named his venture KoKoRo HAUS. The ‘HAUS’ denotes the company’s “German-like” zeal for precise, one-of-a-kind quality that’s instantly noticeable.

The goal of KoKoRo HAUS is simple. Build one dream home at a time for someone who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it. And in doing so put a smile on peoples’ face and help impact their lives positively, genuinely and significantly.

“I believe giving back is a debt one owes to society,” states Mr. Rizvi. “I am fortunate to have gotten a better bargain in life. I don’t know why. But I know it wasn’t deserved. KoKoRo HAUS is my way of giving back,” he asserts. For those out there who are looking for a better home, Mr. Rizvi has one message, “if you dare to dream it.
